Mossy Oak is a brand of camouflage based in West Point, Mississippi that manufactures camouflage for hunting. It was founded in 1986 by Toxey Haas, who thought of designing a fabric based on a bag filled with foliage. Designs by Mossy Oak are influenced by natural materials such as dirt, leaves, bark, etc. to match the surroundings of the person hunting. The camouflage designs are meant to create a 3D effect to make the fabric blend in with nature. |
